Very.co.uk 50's Summer Dress: Day Look

I received this very beautiful, 50's style summer dress in the post the other day from the very lovely people at Very.co.uk. Now, if you have been reading my blog for a long time, you'll know that I love a good LBD, and this one is so pretty. I really love the pleated skirt and the tight bodice, it's just the right amount of sexy and cute! Now I have it in a size 12 and it fits me pretty well, a little big around the bodice, but nothing I can't sort out with a different bra! The material is also really thick so I reckon I can mix it up for winter and evenings too, so it's very versatile. My favourite aspect of this dress though is the criss-cross back! How amazing is that?! It really makes it stand out from other dresses on the market and gives it that little something extra!

I decided to style it up with a floral headband from Accessorize, sandals from H&M and my favourite day time bag from Next. I've actually never worn this headband but I think it looks really pretty for a summer look.

I really love this look, and I have a few more ways to wear this dress, so I can't wait to share these with you throughout the week!
